Scyther can evolve into two different Pokémon, depending on which evolution item you use, in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The first is, of course, Scizor – the bug and steel-type Pokémon introduced in Gen 2. The second, however, is Kleavor which debuted in Legends: Arceus itself.
Evolution. Scyther evolves into Scizor. In Hisui, it evolves into Kleavor.
Scyther has a new, alternate evolved form in Pokemon Legends called Kleavor. To trigger the evolution, simply use a Black Augurite on Scyther. Wild Graveler will occasionally drop this stone when defeated, so your best chance of obtaining one will be to battle as many as you can.
Once players have a Metal Coat, they’ll need to give it to their Scyther to hold via the menu. With Scyther holding a Metal Coat, players will need to find a friend to trade with since trading Scyther with the Metal Coat will trigger the evolution. So find a friend to swap Scyther back and forth, and the job’s done.
Scyther has more weaknesses and lower Attack, but is much faster than Scizor. Scizor has a great attack stat, and really good typing (he’s only weak to Fire, even though it’s a 4x weakness), but he’s slower.
Scyther is an excellent Bug/Flying Pokemon with a physical attacking moveset. It evolves into the stronger, tankier, and slower, Scizor.
I’d go for Scizor. Stronger offensive stats than Steelix, access to a priority move, and only a single weakness. Steelix is more for just absorbing physical hits being thrown around than anything else, which with Umbreon on your team already it wouldn’t seem necessary to me.

Players may even be able to catch an Alpha Scyther in Pokémon Legends: Arceus there with an Adamant nature, allowing them to evolve it into a massively oversized Scizor. Pokémon Legends: Arceus is available now on Nintendo Switch.

Should I wait to evolve my Scyther? Yes. Please, do evolve your Scyther. Not only does it get an attack and defense buff, it also gains the Steel-type, which is a blessing defensively.
Scyther needs one metal coat and 50 candies to evolve into a Scizor. Seadra needs one dragon scale and 100 candies to evolve into Kingdra. Porygon needs one upgrade item and 50 candies to evolve into Porygon2.
It will also recalculate them on evolution as well. This means you can have a level 100 max attack scyther, evolve it and you will have a max attack scizor.
Fun fact: Scyther is the only Pokémon with a split evolution who had both of it’s evolutions introduced after it’s debut.
Scyther – #123 – Mantis Pokémon – veekun.
Bug/Flying is one of the worst typings in pokemon, and the awesomeness that is AA/Technician scyther has to suffer (60 BP -> 90 BP [Technician] -> 135 BP [STAB] no-miss attack)…… of course you should evolve it. There’s a reason Scizor is OU and Scyther is UU.
Scyther. Scyther will only evolve into Scizor once it has been traded. In addition, you’ll also need to make sure it is holding a Metal Coat item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
123.5 lbs. Delta Scyther (referred to as just Scyther in-game) is a dual-type Ice/Fighting Delta Pokémon. It evolves into Delta Scizor when traded holding a Never-Melt Ice. Due to its mutation, it is unable to breed with any Pokémon except Delta Ditto.

No. The only way to evolve Scyther is trade it with metal coat on it. No, you need to trade Scyther with the Metal Coat. If you have an AR, you can catch a Scizor, but it won’t be the same Pokemon you’ve raised, of course.
You can evolve Scyther into Scyzor and in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, adding a this fan-favourite Bug/Steel Pokémon to your Pokédex.

Lucario is a better wall-breaker/sweeper better because STAB Close Combat is more powerful than anything Scizor can do. Scizor can also sweep but is used more to scout with U-turn.
The best Pokemon Go Steelix counters are Primal Kyogre, Mega Blaziken, Primal Groudon, Mega Charizard Y, Mega Swampert & Mega Garchomp. Login to see your custom results!
