Lucy Hale to Nude Photo Hacker: Kiss My Ass

Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale is the latest female celebrity to be violated by a hacker stealing nude photos and an unscrupulous website posting them online.

Reports surfaced earlier this week that photos of Hale had been uploaded on a site that is notorious for sharing naked images of famous women.

Hale turned to Twitter on Thursday to respond to the hack.

“Once again, a woman in the public eye was violated, stolen from and her private life and body were exposed for anyone to see,” she wrote. “I will not apologize for living my life and having a personal life that is all mine. It’s truly unfortunate that being exposed in this way is allowed.”

Hale went on to thank her fans for their support and love, ending her statement with a direct message to the hacker. “And to whoever did this … kiss my ass.”

The actress’ attorney, Martin Singer, reportedly sent a warning letter to the site, and it wouldn’t be surprising if a lawsuit was the next step.

In October, the man responsible for the massive 2014 nude-photo leak was sentenced to a year and a half behind bars. He had been facing up to five years in prison for felony computer hacking, but prosecutors recommended 18 months, and U.S. District Judge William W. Caldwell agreed.
